Honey Scratcher

Ok, you have to deal with the cappings. You can’t get the honey out unless you get through all those little lids. This is the cheapest, fastest method we know (albeit a bit messy). Don’t plan for cappings to melt down, but very economical for the hobbyist with a small job. Also useful by the bigger beekeeper to remove cappings in hard-to-get-to places. Oh, and it makes a good tool for removing drone brood to check for mites too—if you can stomach the process.
