Who We Are

Welcome to Beeline Apiaries & Woodenware, your supplier for all your beekeeping needs! From quality beehive equipment to beekeeping books, whether you are a hobbyist or a commercial beekeeper, we are here to help you grow in your passion and care for your bees.

We are three independently owned and operated businesses in southwestern Michigan, southcentral Colorado, and southwestern Washington, working together to provide you with the same products, same quality and same service all across the United States. We do not have a central headquarters.

Our Service

At Beeline, we offer you our manufactured woodenware made from Eastern White Pine or Ponderosa Pine. We also offer our own design of protective bee clothing, as well as our choices of many beekeeping items, previously tested in the bee yard. Our goal is for you, the beekeeper, to gain the success you are looking for!

Contact us about our annual beginner’s beekeeping class held at the Michigan branch each spring! The Michigan and Washington branches also provide nucleus colonies or packages of bees each spring for your very first hive or to replace your winder dead-outs!

You can order directly from us through this website, download and fill out our printable order form to mail us or send us a message using our contact form with catalog requests, product questions or dealership inquiries. If one branch receives an order from a customer in another branch’s territory, all information will be transferred to the nearest branch so that you receive the cheapest shipping possible. If you prefer to pick up your order, choose the pickup option at our online checkout or contact your nearest store. Or, you can check out our Locate a Dealer page and contact your nearest Beeline dealer to see if they have the supplies you are looking for.

Our Mission

Our mission at Beeline is built upon a strong foundation of faith in God, the Creator of both bees and beekeepers. We desire to operate our businesses for His glory alone and as Christians, strive to maintain high ethical and moral standards for ourselves and towards our customers.  We desire to magnify the fascination of God’s amazing handiwork in the creatures we work for- the bees!

Our History

Beeline Apiaries & Woodenware was established in 2003 in Greencastle, Pennsylvania. It began as a small business for Jonathan Showalter and his family in the garage and basement of his house. In 2007, the Showalter family moved their growing business to the mountains of Bedford, Pennsylvania. After completely renovating an old dairy farm to fit the business’ needs, they settled into five years of expansion.

The beginning of 2012 brought the establishment of Beeline’s second Branch near Rochester, Washington! Harold Weaver and his family endeavored to provide the same products, quality and service to the western states.

Toward the end of 2012, the rented, hilly farm in Pennsylvania was becoming too crowded for the Showalter’s business. After the family considered a major move, they relocated the eastern Beeline Branch to southwestern Michigan between Mendon and Three Rivers. They found themselves among many more small and large beekeepers and have been continuing their service for them and beyond.

2013 also brought the establishment of Beeline’s third Branch near Pueblo, Colorado! Though operating on a smaller scale near the Colorado Rockies, Dwight Eby and his family strive to provide the same products, quality and service to the beekeepers in the central states. Since 2013, the three Beeline Branches have steadily continued to grow and prosper to where we are today!

2023 marks our 20th anniversary and we wouldn’t be where we are without the Lord’s help! We also thank each customer who has stuck with us during our growing pains, and rejoiced in our success. We look forward to continuing our service to you and your bees, ready to answer any questions you may have about bees, beekeeping and our products. Contact us today!
